Aside from his speed, I was never all that impressed with Warren, but then again, the only time I saw him fight is in the Olympics...I would imagine Rigondeaux would eat him up, though.

You got my hopes up man, I thought this thread was goona include the video! Apparently it was a very close fight, 16-18 or something like that with Rigo beating the young Warren.

Rigo said it was the most difficult match he had in years.

  6. Raushee needs to get working in the pro ranks.

Seriously. There's no need to attempt for the gold anymore.

He promised his mom he'd bring her home a Gold. That and he makes more money from the USOC than he would as a pro.

There is no need for him to go pro. He is getting bare sponsorships and competing at a lot higher level than he would be doing as a pro.

How so? How much does he make as an amateur... and how?

  11. Each to their own, you wouldn't force that lifestyle onto anyone but when you see time is passing and his placing at the last 2 olympics, I want to see him get something.

He gets a stipend from USA boxing.

Pretty sure he gets a monthly stipend, like Amy said; but also the USOC managed to pay him, Raynell Williams, and Michael Hunter pretty good money to convince them to stay amateur for 2012.
