    Top Post :good

I agree totally on the body weight. He still carrying puppy fat. If anything he lost that car tyre he had. I think he gassed a bit badly aswell because of Nerves. I know Tyson's a confident chap but the interview should he wanted it so bad. In the introductions he did a classic gentleman arms folded as his name was called out (something from the school of Eubank) Well that could be nerves there...although it looked like he was supremely confident i think it may be exact opposite. It actually helped him be sharp early on.

He's also surprisingly light on his feet for such a big man. I still find it hard to believe he's only 21 though!

As I said in another thread, I ****ing love Tyson Fury. He looks like a boxer who genuinely enjoys the game and everything that goes with it.

A lot his made of his conditioning but he's done 20 hard rounds at a decent pace with McDermott now and finished the stronger both times. From where he is now I believe he can take any other top level domestic heavy on workrate alone, cause one things for sure - he ain't getting KO'ed easily.

I've got my fingers crossed that he leaves Hennesey and gets himself a decent trainer, because if he's beating the likes of McDermott whilst he's still so raw he can really make something of himself. I think World Champ will be strectching it, but if Skelton can get a shot there's no reason why Fury can't be a contender.

Fair dues. I just came at it from the other side. Its perhaps more important to keep Paul Butlin on-side than it is for Fury to pull the speech from the end of Rocky II.....all we were missing was an ADRIAAAN......WE DID IT.

Agreed. His dad said while back my boy can move for a big man. You see them lumps over in U.S. They can barley feint without falling arse over tit.

He did make me laugh though...does some lovely moves comes out unscathed then proceeds to do a Ali Shuffle...trips on canvas and nearly get clumped by Mcdermott and falls into ropes

It was the worst shuffle i have ever seen, was pissing myself laughing as he did it only to nearly get caught with a bigshot. Fury isnt in my favourite boxers to watch list, however he is in my favourite boxer list. His personality and humour are **** hot. Everything he says is funny, He should take 3 months off and boil down a stone and half, get some good practise in and fight Dallas/Olubamiwo, then challenge for british honours.

    :good

As said before,i really hope Fury gets a trainer who will push him to the limits, lose a couple of stone & tone up. Also take his time now,no need to keeping fighting at the top end of the Domestic scene until he has got in shape & improved his stamina.

If Fury can do this & takes it a little slower,he will become World HeavyWeight champion Before his 25th Birthday.

What i don't want to see is Fury continuing to fight top opponents when he is only a Novice himself & Unfit, because he will lose to somebody he shouldn't need too & that will end his Career.

i think theres probably a load of factors mate.what wages are they payin?and does anyone want to get involved with the family[i think he should break from them and find a decent set of knowledgable people who can really help him improve.i heard tyson say in one interview that" training is not rocket science" wich makes me think he,s on old skool methods both diet wise and gym work.i hope he can sort things cause he's a good kid at heart with a good dose of bravery who i think could do reasonably well if he's not burnt out too quick and being rushed along for whatever reasons unknown to us.while all the other novices r bein helped along there seems a lot more pressure on fury.in his own mind he would fight anyone and thats a bloody honest attitude -the heart of a lion with the body of a cub.good luck mate
