He did look like he quit, was he rocked, yes, out on his feet? no. He looked exhausted, but his eyes still seemed there, and he looked more lethargic than hurt in the end. Bika punches hard, but they aren't KO type power punches, but I'm sure they hurt. Jaidon just looked like he didn't want to be there anymore, and his body motions near the end proved that, he got hit quite a few more times because of it. Maybe quits too big of a word, maybe you should just say he gave up.
Bull**** he didn't quit, he was dazed and stumbling around the ring like a wino when the ref rightfully called it! The kid fought a damn good fight he was just not ready for Scorpion, forget the 750 grand he will be back and have more paydays down the road, chalk this up as a learning experience..:good
Are you kidding me with this comment? His eyes were still there? What fight were you watching? He got hit with two BOMBS square on the nose toward the very end of the fight where in slow motion you could clearly see his eyes ROLL BACK INTO HIS HEAD on both shots. They both fought like absolute warriors. His body completely gave up on him but he just wouldn't go down. He turned his back because he didn't know what the hell he was doing he was just trying to stay on his feet and not get knocked out... nervousxtian, honestly how can anyone take you seriously after that quote... wow
The ref should have stepped in quicker. Codrington did not quit. He took a beating. The fight could have been stopped a minute prior but he stuck in there. The fight wasnt stopped until Codrington's corner waived the white towel.
CO-SIGN- The ref was too late, 1 more hard shot and the kid probaly would have ended up in the Hospital, damn ref had his head up his ass..:-(
Now this is precisely my point. He clearly wasnt out on his feet.He took a big blow in the corner but he still had there wherewithall to hold. And then as the action moved around the ring although he was dog tired he didnt look like he was actually hurt.I guess Bika must have wanted that £750,000 more.I know if that was me i wouldnt stop fighting until i couldnt or unless i knew i simply couldnt win.Either way im not dubbing his performance. I think you hit the nail on the head HE GAVE UP.thumbsup
