I think he was confident that he wouldn't get subbed he hasn't fought a good BJJ since Nog and he was in Nog's guard for alot of their fight and maybe he thought the same.

I agree. The best do get caught by flying knife fork spoon locks scissors ankle leg locks.

Fedor lost to one of the best in the game. Someone who was one of the best prior to the fight but never got the recognition. His record speaks for itself.

You're being a jackass for real. The guy made a mistake, that DOES NOT mean he didn't fight intelligently. Intelligent people make mistakes, that is what a MISTAKE is. If Mistakes were only made by non-intelligent people that would defeat the purpose of the word.

Mistakes happen, i agree, but you'd have to be a damn idiot to still make that mistake when your opponant has already told you exactly what his gameplan is, that's my point.

I'm not saying Fedor is unintelligent, you nub. I'm saying he fought an unintelligent fight for following a 2x ADCC champ to the ground. If your fighting a guy whose strength is on the mat, then the intelligent thing to do would be to keep the fight standing. See Werdum vs. Arlovski and Kharitonov. Fedor didn't and paid the price.

He ground n pounded the absolute **** out of Big Nog, more than once. He didn't fight a stupid fight dude, he is better on the ground than he is standing, maybe as good as Werdum on the ground. he just got caught, that is all. It happens

What the hell is a "nub"?

Werdum has far better credentials than Nog in terms of BJJ and he is most certainly better than Fedor on the ground as evident from last night. Werdum also stated repeatedly that he would want the fight on the ground. Diving into a BJJ World Champions guard with arms flailing is not an intelligent fight plan anyway you cut it, sorry.

Fedor was fighting another ufc reject and still lost. I guess he can go back to fighting the likes of tim sylvia and mark coleman again.

Werdum has beaten both Emelianenko brothers in the same fashion.
