Unification fights seem to be very rare these days. what if any Unification fights do you see happening in the next year? Haye v klit and of corse the super 6 has 2belts in it so there should be a unification fight in there somewhere any others?

I have no faith in any of the three 140s unifying anytime soon, unfortunately (and it won't be Devon's fault). I do think Ward will probably unify the WBA and WBC belts at 168. ...And, uh,...SNV will likely unify the heavyweight belts before he retires, of course.

Thing is the champions are not always the best fighter in the division or the most marketable.

It be nice to see the guys at Bantamweight and Featherweight fight each other.

I think Haye v either Klitschko will eventually happen.

I don't see Alexander, Bradley or Khan stepping into the ring with one another for at least another year.

i hate that term when it comes to boxing.marketability.They always try and increase and pump up the marketability of a fight but these things burst eventually and then no one cares. they need to go back to the best truly wanting to fight the best, not the best saying they want to and having bull**** promoters in constant pissing matches about the money not being good enough.

Hmm. I actually think the LHW divison could be next to be unified (Chad Dawson) If Haye never finishes his 'NEGOTIATIONS' with the Klitschkos.

I was looking forward to that, well, still am, but I'd heard that because Gamboa has the "Regular" title and John has the "Super Champion" title, he can't unify. ...??? I have no idea, it's the WBA circle jerk. It confuses me. Maybe they'll have TWO SUPER CHAMPIONS! :dead:dead:dead

Well, Dawson doesn't even have a title now, unless you are counting any title, because he has the IBO title. His fight with Pascal will be for Pascal's WBC Light Heavyweight Title. BUT, if you count it, I guess it will also be for the IBO and vacant Ring title.

Does Valuev really need to unify? We all know he's the true undisputed champ, despite the Haye robbery.

It'd be nice to see a unification in the featherweight division. Juanma vs Gamboa, or one of the two against Chris John.
