So if its not a Klitscko, Valuev or Harrison...who will Haye fight next?

Wladamir Klitscko vs Alexander Povetkin purse bids are due today.
Vitali Klitscko is chasing a fight with Nikolai Valuev, whos rematch clause with Haye has expired.
Haye has practicly laughed of suggestions that he will fight Audley Harrison.

So who else is there for Haye to fight.

The obvious choice would be Tomasz Adameck. He fights in August agaisnt Michael Grant, a fight he should come through without any trouble. It ticks all the boxes and would be seen by boxing fans as the best possible defence for any of the champions right now. Its a fight HBO would buy and it will sell tickets in the UK and in the States.

Outside of Adameck theres really nothing else. His mandatory with Chagaev is not due until next year, and Chagaev cannot get a license to fight in the UK, effectivley ruling him out as Haye will not fight him in Germany.

Then theres are severall guys beaten by the Klitsckos already. Eddie Chambers, Tony Thompson, Juan Carlos Gomez, Chris Arreola and Ray Austin.

In reality Adameck is the only fight for Haye that is not a unification.

why can't chaguev get a license in britain? i also think him fighting one of the klitchko's old opponents wouldn't be that bad. if he beats one in true class it will make a case for him to get it on with one of the brothers even better

I think Haye has a fight with Chagaev while he waits for a K-Bro, then takes them both on next year. No way a Haye-Klitschko fight does not happen.

Or Haye just waits and stays horribly inactive.

Chagaev has had problems with hepatitis in the past.

I wouldn't be in any rush to get in the ring with him for that reason..... plus he ain't all that and is best known for being chinned by Wlad.

Haye really needs to sort himself out to avoid looking like a joke.

surprised anyone will fight him then! wouldn't eddie chambers be a decent fight? he'd give haye different problems to deal with even though i don't see him beating haye.

i know he got bashed up but he has decent speed and would give haye something to think about for a few rounds. haye having too much time off won't be good for him and i think he could expose chambers and maybe ko him in middle rounds. surely better than doin nothing

Adamek is the only viable option outside of the Klitschkos. Any other fighter has been or wopuld get beaten up badly by the brothers. I doubt Haye will fight any time soon so hopefully his claims about talking to the brothers or adamek are true and that he is talking in the hope of a fight in 2011.

    Anyone.

He has to fight someone of some calibre. He's right on the cusp of becoming a laughing stock, both amongst fight fans and the wider public. 3 fights in almost 2 years is not going to get him anywhere.
