Ezzard Charles in the first fight against Marciano. I also liked his losing performance against Harold Johnson.

 

I think Frank Bruno v Lennox Lewis is worth a mention. Same with Joe Bugner against Joe Frazier.

I wouldn't scoff at the dude's who voted for V.K. against Lewis...... V.K.'s stock went through the roof after that fight / loss........ That's no ****.......

However, unlike how "Dull" Razor Ruddock flopped after his lift with the pair of '91 fights / losses with Mike Tyson, Vitali Klitschko captured his dream and has become a proven / dominant WBC champion......... WORD!

Bugner/Frazier, yes, good call, but Bomber was getting mighty boring with his do well for six rounds against world class opposition, then choke and blow it act.

 

I get you point,but what impressed me about this particular performance,was Bruno's passion while going about the job. He looked more psyched up than I've ever seen him.
