I think the OP was on to something.. Can't argue with this. A simple mistake and many have ended with a submission lock.
I believe this will come to fruition in the not too distant future. Fedor has always been the master of gameplans. He outfought Cro Cop on the feet in 2005, and dished out blistering gnp to a prime Noguiera back in 2003. He is the most exciting fighter around because he constantly attacks and looks to finish his opponent. I believe Fedor has about two more high-quality years left and avenging this blip on the radar will be first and foremost on his agenda. But I still say that if he had to lose I'm glad it was to a super guy and total gentleman like Werdum. I am a Fedor fan but how could anyone dislike Werdum. That guy is pure class.
No he never have you actually watched the fight he was getting pummled. I like your normel posts but this is just ignorant.
I did read this thread and it was pointless - the guy loses one fight in an unblemished ten year period and hes all of a sudden not considered p4p #1 and then there are those who consider they know what it is to fight an 'unintelligent fight' when they have never been inside a ring.... ever - amazing. Simply by going by the record of Fedor and depth of opponents Fedor has to be considered top 3 P4P. Like others have said im glad it was to Werdum all class and great submission fighter - reminds me of a young NOG - personally I hope Fedor retires soon dont like seeing fighters like him and CC getting past it and losing to people they would have taken apart 5 years earlier.
Ummm, How many times has Fedor been submitted....How about Anderson? How many times has Fedor "clowned" in fights? Fedor comes to fight in every FIGHT!
