Brock Lesnar proved a few things tonight...

Lesnar is a true champion after tonight. The way he fought and the way he was gracious afterwards. Being seriously ill has changed this man for the better and made him a better person. I don't think he'll ever be a very good standup fighter but he has other things in his game that compensate for that one flaw.

 

Did anyone notice Carwin winking at Lesnar at the start of the second? Then Lesnar gave him a smile back.

To me, it was as if to say, I got you cocksucker, or something like that. And Lesnar gave him a defiant **** you too back.

I was surprised Lesnar didn't gloat more after, with this being the case.

Did anyone see this differently?

 

Props to Lesnar. He showed real grit and determination. I don't think it was particularly fair to put him straight in with Carwin after his lay-off but he managed to get the win. Brock showed great heart in lasting but he also showed he doesn't like to get hit. He was pretty much running from Carwin after getting hit with the uppercut. I cant see Brock standing too much anymore.

Also what the hell was Rogan talking about Carwin being fine. It was clear from his expression that he was struggling when Brock was exerting pressure. I think the fight could have been stopped when Brock wasn't really defending himself. Well done to the ref for giving him the benefit of the doubt. Have to say I was disappointed in Carwin's cardio. He was gone by the end of round 1.

Brock has definitely got true fighting heart. Even a 100% focused Fedor would have the hardest fight of his life against Lesnar, who is a freak of nature.

 

oveerem will **** lesnar big time. and lesnar won't get his takedowns against oveerem, cause oveerem is stronger then him.
and JDS will knock out lesnar for sure.
