An ex famous bum fighting another ex famous bum. Seems logical to me.

Neither are bums, just past prime, there is a massive difference.

Stop splitting hairs with your semantics. Currently, they are bums.

The article says Rahman Koed ranked contender Shannon Briggs last April, when in fact it was journeyman Shannon Miller.

Rahman vs Tua has been on the radar for quite a while already, I wonder if Rahman is not trying to draw attention to the fight possibly having it set already between both camps. It makes sense for Tua and it's one of the most lucrative options rahman has.

The fight itself is a mismatch these days as Rahman is shot.

Local journos in NZ are clueless knobheads, Shannon Briggs pssh , they cant even copy/paste from ESB and fightnews properly.

Rahman has cause to feel hard done by with Tua but I think Tua is looking a little sharper at this stage in their careers than Rahman is.

Sounds like it would be a good fight. I say why not. Neither of these guys have anything planned except Tua gets to fight Barrett. other then that they're both free.

Tua needs to fight a big quality HW after Barrett regardless of how hes ranked, so Rahman would be a good test IMO. Even a faded Rahman will be tough to beat.
If Tua fights people like past it Monte then fights a Klit he will get massacred, he needs to reacclimatise to top level HW boxing I reckon, hes been out of that level for 10 years

So should Tua get a title shot if he beats Rahman?

He's already the WBO #2 so if Wlad beats Povetkin theoretically he's already in line.
