Most of Pac's Muscle Mass is not on his Body but in his Big Legs & Thighs. Pac also has Big Biceps & Back Muscles. That's why Pac takes his Power up as he moves up in weight. He has a Solid foundation with that Bigger than Normal legs. Pac's style is more more Mobile than most of the boxers today. He doesn't do weights. He just eat right & train like nobody else in the Planet.

    You're not alone.

I can't lie, though. I'd watch it for the spectacle. In all honesty though, it's a quick money grab that does nothing to enhance the sport.

Take it easy Black, that was one of PacDbest's better posts.
There few and far between you know!:D

Its true that Pac has a thick solid leg foundation, but I dont see where he would add the muscle to move up further than 135 lbs with that frame.
He would already be fighting at a huge disadvantage at 135 lbs!

Pac can add more Chest Muscles & a little more in the waist. More Neck muscles & more muscles to the triceps & Biceps too. I don't want Pac to come in more than 150 lbs though. He's currently coming at 144, He can be at 147-148 at fightnight, that's only 4 more lbs. That way he'll keep his speed.

well, i heard that pac is considering retirement after 6 more fights. if de la hoya can wait two years, then possibly their fight will be pac's 6th and last. pac may even fight mayweather if he's still active for his 5th fight before taking on de la hoya.

these 2 fights are more of money fights for pac so he has something to retire on after a long great career. so, his last 6 fights may go something like this :

    1. jmm
    2. david diaz
    3. juan diaz
    4. hatton or cotto
    5. pbf
    6. de la hoya

that would be a killer schedule for him for the next two years. but it would be just amazing if he manages to do it. well, in all probability, these fights (4, 5 & 6) won't and should not happen but it's not bad to imagine, is it? :D

we have just another two years to enjoy pac's fighting. no matter who his last 6 opponents will be, i know that all of you will agree that boxing won't be the same w/o him. :good

Have you seen the comparison picture that I posted with pac and Castillo side by side.

You're kidding yourself if you think 4 more pounds is going to ready Pac to face a welerweight who will weigh in at 160 lbs at fight time!

Pac is all muscle now, he'd have to call up his buddy James Toney (they have trained at the same Gym) to go on his diet and ask him all about juicing up!

like I said, i'm just imagining... but if pac is even considering fighting dlh, then mayweather, hatton or cotto seems that less far-fetched. and there won't be a 7th or 8th fight. pac will retire in two years and his fighting weight (144 now) will hover around 150-152 max by that time.

When DLH was Pac's age, he was saying he would retire at 31......
    .....how old is DLH now?:hey

The kind of imagination you have is only good for a letdown, because there's a good chance that your plan will be completely shot down right at fight #1!:deal :yep ;)

How can Oscar look at a win over Pacquiao as an accomplishment? That ****** only wants $ he doesn't give a **** about who he fights, if Ivan Calderon was a crossover star that drew in millions of ppv buys Oscar would probably call him out too!

This is absolutely ridiculous, seriously Pacquiao has a chance to carve out a great legacy if he finishes up 130lbs and then takes a shot at a couple 135lb title fights. Pac doesn't need anything else, my god 147??? DLH can go **** himself, If this fight ever did get made it would only be for the $ what a disgrace.

    :****off

you know IF (big if) pac loses even at fight #1, he will still remain as a big PPV attraction. remember that pac lost to erik in their first fight but still got more money in their second fight. that's because he's an exciting fighter w/ a very exciting style which will still be sought after by promoters and boxing fans alike. i'm guessing that even after a close loss to marquez (if it happens), dlh, pbf, juan diaz, etc. will still be willing to fight pac since the money will still be there for these fights. who knows... maybe a loss is what pac needs to snap him out of his current "stupor". we already saw how great he fights coming off a loss just like after first erik-pac fight.

If he loses to JMM, that means he would likely have to gain redemption in a third fight, or at the very least build himself up again against fighters not on that list of yours.....guys like Guzman and Soto, and look impressive in doing it so that he could merit a DLH, Cotto, Mayweather fight!
If he cant beat JMM at 130 lbs, chances are there wont be alot of public interest to see pac up in the higher weights.

Can you imagine DLH taking on pac just after Pac has lost to JMM.
Can you imagine the hit that DLH's already fragile legacy will take if Pac even gave him a competitive fight?

Believe me, DLH would not be interested in fighting Pac after he has lost to JMM......DLH would be in a lose lose situation!

i actually would like to see pac fight two more times @130 (jmm, valero or guzman) and another two fights @135 (two diazes) then retire at the top of his game.

That would be a more realistic approach that if succesful would secure Pac's legacy as an ATG!
