Has David Haye blown it???

It's all premature till Haye comes out and explains his plans.

So he's gonna fight again relatively soon.

Just wait and see what he says.

If it is anything less that a proper challenge then you can all get on your high horses. Untill then you're all just blowing smoke.

 

With every fight Wlad and Vit have they become a little older, a little more slow, a little more shopworn and a little bit closer to defeat.

It depends on your outlook whether Haye is being smart or being a *****.

If they both turn round and say '**** him' he needs us more than we need him and don't fight him, he's gonna have some major regrets.

I have read it and I do understand it. This is boxing if you're not patient you're gonna get worked up non stop.

I think they like money too much to turn down a fight with Haye.

I think an adamek fight is a good choice and a tough fight although after all the talk the next fight should have been a klitschko if the negotiations weren't ridiculous. Saying that the haye hype won't be blown if he fights an arreola type as it will only increase his US presence and bargaining power with US TV and sky against the klitschkos and their german tv deals.

On the make the most money for the easiest time side of things rather than simply doing the absolute bare minimum and waiting for the big klitschko moneymaker why doesnt he fight a series of easy fights like most fighters who take this approach do? Build his fanbase up a lot more by people actually watching him box, he has only had 2 fights since he became a real mainstream star, not enough to keep peoples attention and a buzz going at all, whilst taking low risk fights and looking spectacular. Then whenever they can finally agree on it/haye is up for it have the big klitschko moneymaker, which by then would be even bigger.


Other side of things if he genuinely wants to be a great heavyweight then this inactivity will do him no good either.

 

That's what I'd do if I were either of them.

Assuming they've made him a reasonable offer (which IMO is likely bearing in mind Haye has signed twice) they are best continuing with their own career and shutting Haye out.

It's plainly obvious he wants nothing to do with Wlad at all, though I think he quite fancies the job against Vitali.

If he really wanted Wlad it would have either happened or been signed (again) before now.

 

Unless Haye fights Vitali after the proposed Vitali-valuev fight, any victory over him would be tainted and seen as him beating an 'aging' legend. But the signs of his aging are already there so beating him now is a very achievable aim and would still get him a lot more respect. Stylistically, Wladimir would be a lot tougher for him but i genuinely feel if he beats 1 he will beat the other.
I've got a feeling haye was telling the truth and that he will have a break and may not reappear until 2011. then, he would be able to negotiate with either brother again or even adamek. Realistically though it would have to be a Klitschko or the 'ducking' jibes will carry on

 

There's still nothing to comment on. Even basic knowledge of the Klits' business practices are enough to let you know that they offer **** money and awful terms for fights. Haye's silence, to me, says more about his seriousness than him ducking.

And I hate that term "ducking."
