Brock Lesnar isnt Reigning long...

The one man who could be kryptonite to Lesnar having seen the Carwin fight is JDS. Although not as heavy with one shot as Carwin, this guy still has frightening punching power. He is pinpoint accurate too and looks to have more stamina than the larger, heavier Carwin. He is a finisher too. If Brock gets by Cain and JDS beats Big Country as expected we could end up seeing this fight.

I don't give a **** about that. The fact is I watched the Lesnar fight and was shocked that this is "Ultimate Fighting". One guy looked absolutely terrible on his feet, took a glancing blow, was put on ***** street and then RAN away and CURLED into a BALL on the floor! atsch

Don't watch the UFC heavies if you want to see "Ultimate fighting" go down in weight plenty of great fighters in and outside of the UFC.

 

Lesnar reigns untill he fights JDS

 

To be fair to Brock, he did sustain a good amount of punishment, enough to break open his face. What was impressive was his ability to get up off the mat in the way that he did. He seemed to have another store of energy, and if getting off the mat can be explosive, he was explosive.

The thing about it is, when you play that out in your mind it only brings Brock back up to his feet from a position he has only been in once in his career. If he winds up on his back against a guy with endurance and is able to get back up it simply puts him back into position to go for his own takedown.

The only place Brock seems to be dangerous is from the mount, which is always going to require some sort of takedown.

Most everyone had this hunch, but now everyone knows the extent of his lack of standup game. His raw power, and the sort of invincible, never take a step back aura about him is gone. Shane Carwin pretty much executed the recipe to defeat Lesnar, he just didn't have enough in the tank.

What we know about Lesnar now is that he is as one dimensional as worst case scenario should have lead us to believe. He is a guy who is extremely dangerous from the mount, has virtually no standup and is going to go for the takedown every single time.

This is basically a one dimensional fighter.. This sort of fighter doesn't reign long.

 

We've been here with fighters like Brock before. Kerr Coleman were both better in their respective primes than Brock. We know what happened to them. Brock will be no different.

 

Kerr was a good champ until his drug problems took over.

Coleman is a living legend, the first to be HW champ in pride, held the UFC HW title before that, and beat all sorts of ass.

If you are saying those two are failures so Brock will also be, you are clutching at straws. Lesnar isn't Kerr or Coleman, he is developing much quicker and is a dominate fighter already and will continue to be so for a while.

 

If you only count the fight with Carwin; outside of that he has done very well standing.

How many people are going to be able to stop his takedowns anyway? How many Carwin's are there in the world with similar size and similar wrestling?

Neither Kerr nor Coleman were taking beatdowns like that in there 6th fight. Neither of them had losses in under 6 fights. Both of those fighters never evolved and were the prototype for the big wrestler with GnP skills. Lesnar's GnP is average in comparison to the former and he's hardly reinventing the wheel with his current performances. Lesnar wont achieve a fraction of what Kerr and Coleman achieved in MMA and ibet my house on that. Those guys were bonafide studs in their primes. Lesnar is not. Not even close. So get out of here with that UFC spin.
