McCloskey ordered to Fight Lauri Again..

    yep as in the title. he's been ordered to fight Lauri again. Due to lack of post fight drug testing and also because of the knockout blow may have been a deciding factor.

    What would you do if you were McCloskey?? Drop the Title and move onwards and upwards rather then stalling and waiting about. Fight Lauri as soon as possible and get it out of way? It's really a fight he doesn't need to be having again...he fought poorly and still won.

    I think he should take the fight and this time put on a better performance. The title is good earner and does hold some weight so will be useful when moving up the ranks.

    this is a joke! lauri has been around long enough to know he should protect himself at all times!! he has no one else to blame except himself

    wholly unsatisfactory for paul the whole thing

    he doesnt have all that many options for fights and considering hes a no one in america who is there for him?

    If drug testing wasn't performed that is not McCloskey's **** up so why should he have to take the consequences from someone else's mistake? Lauri should have no grounds for complaint, the ref resumed action at the point where McCloskey knocked him out, there was no rule infringement.

    There's the video of the knockout from the last fight. Personally I think there's nothing wrong with it, Lauri had his hands up and was defending himself (just not enough). Great shot though. :bbb

    I think if McCloskey can get a big fight for himself (Malignaggi in Madison Square Gardens:thumbsup), he should vacate the title, if not he may aswell fight Lauri, it will be good for his rankings at least and lets be honest, he isn't getting near Khan, Bradley or Alexander for a while.

    :blood lauri put a complaint because he wanted to touch gloves. The ebu are pandering to his demands...the boy can do no harm with them.

    Generally the KO blow is a deciding factor in the fight.

    In an article in another Belfast paper john wish of matchroom said that lauri has been reinstated as mandatory again. It dosent mean mccloskey will have to fight him tho, cause I think he will take one more voluntary then vacate and push on for a world title shot

    His trainer says its not a big problem, but it actually is. This is a waste of time and at Paul's age he can't afford this.

    Lauri is a twat i don't get why the EBU love him and Branco so much. Lauri should of got the hint that Paul was sick of his moaning by the 7th or 8th when he went to touch gloves and Paul didn't even acknowledge it. You think Lauri will try get this one in Italy? Could be a big factor, Lauri in front of his home crowd getting the added boost. McCloskey away from his home crowd and hopefully not engaging as much.

    Forgot to add completely pointless fight.
