    Get huge as in a body builder taking steroids? No. Build a a large amount of muscle? Yes.

    Olympic lifts build muscle. Add a calorie surplus and the trainee will get bigger. Nutrition is what determines how big you are. What you're saying makes no sense. If I started lifting like a bodybuilder without being on a surplus I would'nt get bigger. Simple as that.

    All have a decent amount of muscle and all do primarily explosive lifts.

    yeh and that muscle doesnt look so big that it would slow u down in the ring IF you had been doing speed and boxing training at the same time and not neglecting it and if those fat guys did cardio and cut to <10% bf

    also these are professional weight lifters. they take years to get that strong/big

    my main point is that doing simple compound weight lifting exercises wont slow a boxer down.

    What assists the upper back muscles to work and stabalises there action. Everything is a balancing act as regards the Body.
