I think Abraham will stop Froch

I'm thinking a Froch UD in this one.

Builds up a points lead early doors and then weathers the AA storm later on to take it on a close decision.

But nothing would surprise me in this one, could go either way and in either manner (ie: decision or stoppage).

 

I'm not sure Froch can sustain a constant assault for 8 rounds to keep Abraham off balance. Eventually Abraham will fire, he'll land and Froch will get into a tear up.

 

Its not a myth, he was a lazy **** with the monk on (no homo)

People keep saying this, but where is the evidence that Abraham has the power to stop Froch at 168?....nowhere thats where. Abraham may have the power to trouble Froch but you can only base your pick on absolute guesswork and not demonstrable evidence.

 

Can't see this going the distance to be honest. Both big punchers and if it's close I don't think either will be content to leave it to the judges to decide.

I'm leaning towards Abraham, Froch's defence is too poor against a huge puncher who'll stand and trade with anyone. I'm gonna say there will be a late stoppage and it's likelier AA will be the victor.

 

When is this fight? As if its not being shown on Sky Sports they just blank it which is shocking.

 

I cant see AA outboxing Froch, Froch UD for me!!!

His power was proven at middleweight and since moving up he's knocked Taylor out cold and put Dirrel down in the 10th.

Its hardly an outrage to suggest he has power at 168

 

I love how some folk, (and i'm not accusing you here), love to discredit Carl's win over JT by stating that Taylor was 'shot to pieces', and then talk up Abraham's power at smw by referencing his ko win over the same Jermain Taylor, who had just come that devastating loss to Froch.

As for the Dirrell kd, Dirrell was back on his feet pretty sharpish and didn't seem to be hurt.

 

I thought Dirrel looked a little shaken up,hence the running.
As for Frochs win...it was a good win for him,I personally didn't think Taylor looked too shot against him as he schooled him for the bulk of the fight. Froch showed true grit and good heart to dig out the ko tho.

My original point was its not too outrageous to suggest his power will carry up as in the only 2 bouts he's had there he's had his opponent on the deck. Surely you'd agree with that considering his middleweight campaign also?

 

It was something to do with travel disruptions, volcanos, laziness, injuries and volcanos. There is definitely an excuse to be found somewhere, it couldn't possibly be that Frochy was noway near good enough. :hey

 

No it can't be. Froch lost, i don't think people can dispute that but you can't really say he wasn't nowhere near good enough :good

Whether he gassed, he was lazy or simply Kessler was just better, there was some evidence there to suggest he could beat Kessler on another night so I feel your being somewhat over critical of him :good

 

There wasn't much evidence. He was taken out of his comfort zone in the fight and had no answers. Froch talks a good game about going to war and decapitating but he was physically handled in the fight and backpedalling. That is not Froch's typical way to approach a fight so its obvious he couldn't do much different.
