What Pavlik thinks about fighting Calzaghe!

Not a surprise he would want to fight Calzaghe, but it would be a bad move to make if he wants to remain undefeated.

 

it's not gonna happen, joe wants to move to LHW, and pavlik should be looking to create a legacy at MW before moving up.

 

Kelly is a good guy who would take on anybody that was put infront of him. But Joe Calzaghe would beat him, and beat him pretty handily.

 

He should most definitely stay at MW and remain undefeated. Plus I do believe that Joe really wants Hopkins so Pav would have to wait for him

there are still a handfull of fights for him in mw that would make sence so why the hurry?

 

So far Kelly has knocked out every guy he wasn't supposed to beat. If he fought Calzaghe, it would be no different. Joe might make 10 or 11 rounds instead of the typical 6-8, but the end result would be the same. Kelly would check him with a perfect 1-2, or a great body shot, and once he stunned JC it would be boom-boom, out go the lights. Joe is a great boxer, but he would not be able to avoid Kelly for 12 full rounds. Somewhere along the way Joe would make a mistake that Kelly would capitalize on and that would end the fight. However, it really looks like Joe is going down to the senior citizens center, and pick a fight with BHop. This really pisses me off after Calzaghe ran his mouth after the Taylor fight!

I like Pavlik but Joe is head and shoulder above him his output of almost 1000 punch per fight is too much for anybody.

Bull****! Kelly's work rate is slightly better than Joe's, AND at 168 Pavlik would be the BIGGER man. Joe has nothing in his arenal to keep Kelly off of him. He may well outbox Pav for several rounds, but eventually he gets caught in a firestorm, and knocked the **** out. Even Joe knows this. That's why he's getting into wheel chair boxing with old man Hopkins! Man I wish this fight would actually materalize, because I am having the same debate that took place before the Taylor fight with the same people.

Kelly - Joe is a good fight, plus KP will be more stable at a higher weight. I see him as a future 3 div champ, 160, 68 & 75...
