bc, Its kinda difficult to say. You look at guys like Lindland and Hendo, who have international credentials. But a lot of the best wrestlers have been folkstyle guys. The international wrestlers have been Greco wrestlers, not many freestyle wrestlers have really done much in mma. Hughes, Kos, Lesnar come to mind. Anyway, I think folkstyle is a better style for mma than freestyle, control is such a big deal in mma. THe best background is probably an extensive folkstyle background with international Greco experience...thats what those famous wrestlers did.
Henderson and Lindland have the best credentials from what I've read. From what I've seen inside the cage, I think Koscheck and GSP are the best.
