Your countershots let you clearly outclass the guy and overwhelm his punch resistance. That slip and counterlefthook certainly did the job, you have a good right hand as well. You seem to have a good reach, the only thing is I'd jab a bit more but clearly you were able to get the job done on this dude pretty easily with your style. You look great. Keep it up!
You damn near countered every punch. Consider me inspired, I'm gonna try to work on my counter left hook now. Very Impressive win. Did him being southpaw change your plan or throw you off initially?
Thanks for the comments! btw this is the heavyweight division, i was 189 for this fight. But usually against an orthodox fighter i'm able to land alot more straight right hands. I came in slipping outside of his jab so he couldnt get any other punch off while i came immeadiately back with a hook. The main thing that helped me in this fight was keeping my balance, focus & confidence..

You looked good, but definently a miss match your opponent just moves forward throwing straights, when you fight someone that can box you will need more variety, get some counter uppercuts, parry/jabs, overhand shots and a few body shots mixed in for the next bout and you will be looking very good indeed, you seem quite skilled for your second bout, maybe for your third youll be able to show us some new tricks still. good luck.
Nice slipping and countering. Your left hook and right hand look good as well. And you seem to have a fast jab when you decide to use it.
