hatton v witter

    as we all know this was a fight the british public wanted to see. i heard hatton on radio yesterday saying he will fight again if he gets the hunger back, well i see no better opponent for him to get his hunger back than the boxer who tried to ruin so much of his wins by goading him into a fight on live tv. witter is now upto welter and i still think this could be a massive fight in britain if it could be made!! what do you think? and who would win it?

    Useless fight.

    It has as much appeal to me as the current versions of Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe fighting each other.

    no better fight to get his hunger back than a fight he could have taken at any point in the last 5 years and decided he couldnt actually be bothered even when he was fighting?

    Agree, years too late.

    Would've been a great domestic fight around 05-06', and i actually would've given Witter a better chance of winning than most would, mainly due to his switch hitting style.

    Anyway, pointless happening now... just needs to be filed in the 'could've, should've, would've' section.

    fatton robbed the fans not giving us this fight, i thought witter would've won still do now witter is a true pro un like fatton

    It's about 6 years too late.

    I still think that Witter would have caused all sorts of problems for Hatton, if they'd fought back then. There's no getting away from the fact that Ricky avoided Witter, for whatever reason.
