i see james toney is going to be put in with randy couture , this seems to me like a grappler vs boxer match , i know randy boxed many years ago in the army i believe , any ways wouldnt the better match up be guys like the axe murderer or rich franklin or even forest griffin , these guys are stand up fighters and great strikers , i feel it would be a much more entertaining fight , james has no bussiness in there with a greco roman master , ne ways would love some input thanks
This match isn't as bad as it seems. Randy has mediocre punch resistance and Toney could KO him. Randy also hasn't been known to KO or submit his opponents so basically if Toney's done his homework on MMA, he has a surprisingly decent chance at winning.
First couple of sentences ill agree but the last couple a big fat NO. Obviously Couture is scoring any stoppage on his fight so we wont even go there, on the ground Couture have TKOed Liddell, Belfort, Randleman, Gonzaga, Rizzo and others all those guys had much better wrestling and MMA games then James Toney and I know this because Toney cant learn or develop what any of these guys have/had in 4 months. Couture also choked out Coleman and Van Arsdale 2 guys who have been training for years agian much more experience then Toney. If this fight hits the ground then theres like a 99 perfect chance it ends there. Ill leave that 1 percent to maybe Toney hurting Couture, having difficulty finish him in the guard if Randy closes his legs and by the time its restarted and Randy scores a takedown there isnt much time left in the round.
