The Floyd groupies are PRAYING that Cotto loses this. They know if Cotto wins, a fight with Cotto is a must if Floyd ever wants to cement his legacy before he retires. They're scared shitless right now :deal

Yes, if Cotto loses to Mosely, he would still defeat Floyd if they fought.

As far as I can see there are only three potential fights out there for Floyd: Cotto, Mosley and Paul Williams.
After tonight's fight there will be only two names.

After Floyd beat Oscar at 154 I had the thought that Floyd could've moved up six lbs. to challenge and outpoint Jermaine Taylor for the middleweight crown.
I think it would've been doable since Taylor had looked like **** against blown-up welters and superwelters like Spinks and Ouma.
That would've been a massive accomplishment for a boxer who started out at 130.

But he let the moment slip by.

Papa Jack will cost his son the fight. He panics when Shane is in trouble. And doesnt give any good advice at all. Cotto will then continue to proceed with the ass kicking until the white towel comes flying into the ring. :yep

I just bet on Mosley to win, and I picked the under which was 9 1/2.

Mosley's hand speed is too much. He'll find Cotto's chin with his left hook, and make legs weak. He'll then finish him off shortly thereafter. I'm hoping for a great fight, but I'm afraid it won't last long.

Nothing against Cotto. I really like the kid. This is just bad match up for him. He needs for Mosley to act his age in order to win.

Yeah, good pick there mate, it goes well with your Cotto bashing that you're doing currently.

However, this was a close but clear decision for Cotto, I suppose you forgot about his dominance in the mid rounds and even though this was close, Cotto still defeats Floyd, but you can't see that.:yep

And I take responsibility for it, because Mosely did better down the stretch. However, did get the styles right, Cotto's pressure and accuracy had him some nice rounds, enough to take the fight when adding the 11th where he countered Mosely well.

Cotto is a winner and even though Mosley is the better boxer, he did whatever it took to win...

Never bet against Joe or Cotto!:deal

I nailed the Close Decision pick on Cotto but had nerves the whole way.

Great fight, both men fought and boxed and gaves us a great fight.

It was a great fight indeed, this 'robbery' **** is ridiculous, especially when Cotto reasonably did more for the majority of the fight. These posters seem to only have the last 4 rounds in their heads I suppose, 1 which Cotto cleanly took.

Cotto cleanly won 6 of the first 10 and took the 11th also, giving him 7 rounds, Mosely earning 5 rounds.

Therefore 115-113. Where is the robbery?

Credit to both of these guys.

agreed it was a clear win for cotto, it's not even debatable. you could even see the look of resignation on shane's face during the last two rounds.

You gave Cotto the first round? Shane won that round. I had shane winning the fight. But it was close. a win to cotto, shane, or draw i can live with. It was just a very close, competitive fight and I love sugar mosley simply for the fact he was making a young gun back down. I have never seen Miguel do that before it was kind of wierd seeing him fight like that. He wasn't that bad at it either.
