The most exciting boxing night I can think of....

    UNDERCARD

Felix Trinidad vs Tommy Hearns at 154 Lbs (two ATG punchers who could be hurt by a good hitter, a shootout in the making... that night could be short for both men)

Bernard Hopkins vs James Toney at 160 Lbs (A scientific display, a chess match involving pretty evenly matched fighters who are smart, skilled and strong)

Aaron Pryor vs Roberto Duran at 140 Lbs (Two proud and egocentric badass fighters, non-stop action, relentless effort and... machismo !)

    CO-MAIN EVENT

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Ray Leonard at 147 lbs (Speed, power, grace, lightning flurries, flashiness, drama... who'll deserve to be called Sugar ?)

    MAIN EVENT

Muhammad Ali vs Mike Tyson at HW (The fastest, the most untouchable v the most explosive and vicious HW puncher ever. Even an intimidated Tyson reprensents danger for a '67 Ali in the first few rounds at least.. Ali wants to show that he's the baddest man ever !)

How about historical fights that no film exists for?

Bob Fitzsimmons vs. Tom Sharkey 1 (controversial ending as Wyatt Earp calls a win for Sharkey based on a supposed low blow).

Tom Sharkey vs. James J. Corbett (another controversial ending)

Jack Johnson vs. Sam Langford (Sam was 11 stone and a bit)

Gunboat Smith vs. Sam Langford (did Smith deserve the win?)

Harry Greb vs. Mickey Walker (two of the MW class's best)

Jack Sharkey vs. Jack Renault (Did Boston Gob get a gift in Boston?)

(It would be a poor matchmaker that couldn't pack a house with any two of these bouts as co-features)

Chandler vs Pintor actually could and should have happened...I would love to have seen it. I would excpect Joltin' Jeff to win, but this could go either way...good call
