Anyone think this is actually Floyd's plan, that he wants the media to hang him as a coward, so when he does beat Pacquiao they have no excuses like they did the 41 other times?

Most here called Floyd a coward for not signing to fight Mosley right away. 2 seconds after round 12, he was a coward again for fighting an old man. (a man who just KTFO Pacquiao's next opponent in Margarito)

Floyd wants every major media outlet in the US to proclaim Pacquiao as the man to beat him. This time, in Floyd's last big fight, he doesn't want to have to deal with "Ok, you beat him, but how about...". He wants to build Pacquiao up as much as he can. This is why the drug testing was brought up.

This is genius at work, folks.

I'm really going to find it interesting to look back at the 101 "Floyd is scared" threads after he puts a boxing clinic on Pacquiao. :deal

I really don't care if Arum gets a load money. I just want this fight to happen but no, Mayweather is absent.

Can't see how Arum is doing anything wrong here.

He is diplomatic towards Floyd as the TS stated to keep the optimism of a 2011 fight healthy in the minds of fans and to prevent a backlash which could harm it's lucrativeness.

If that's doing right by Pac, duh, that's his job as his promoter.

There had to be a deadline as Pac is fighting in four months and needs an opponent to prepare for.

I also don't see anything wrong with negotiating through HBO and Greenburg. Both sides took part and it was Mayweather who ultimately chose not to respond to the deadline.

An explanation would be nice. But why are people forcing him into a corner as if he is in debt? We really don't know what's going on in his life. Seems to me Pac fans are spiteful that Floyd didn't call back after Pac asked him to attend the prom. I realize we all want to see the mega fight but people are acting as if Nov. 13th is our last day on Earth. Maybe Floyd does have a good reason to not fight on that particular day. Or maybe he prefers to call Sergio. After all, Sergio is prettier than Pacquiao.

I just want to make sure that I understand. Are you defending Mayweather? I just want to makle sure I'm reading this corectory.
Do you have some hidden motive? You seem to come acroos as ESB's biggest Mayweather basher.
These are questions not commits or insults.

    It's how you read it.

I think floyd played this round very intelligently.

All i know is, Bob Arum's camp really wants to make this fight and has been doing everything--even defending mayweather and enticing him to negotiate again for a 2011 bout.

Mayweather on the hand clearly shows one thing--he doesn't want this fight. he invented the steroid and testing bull**** to get away the first time, and he went into hiding this time. Void is Void until he fights

But Luke in both cases the judges agreed with him, so doesn't that validate his opinion?

Yeah they "really wanted" the fight by offering terms they knew they couldn't get. Moron.

If Pac wants the fight it is really simple. USADA drug testing. For some strange reason Pac just won't drug test... :think

Funny I was about to say that....

At some point the fight will start losing its luster and too much hype has surrounded it for it not to come off.....

I'm sure there is a good reason why he hasn't said anything yet.
