Khan vs Limond

Its a big step up for Khan, no doubt. However, Khan is naturally a much bigger guy than Limond, & I think that could be a deciding factor.

Limond will be coming to win though, & you can bet your bottom dollar on that. Its a great matchup on paper, I just hope its on TV over here!

 

ints interesting for an american fan to like british boxing (it aint as bad as people say) yea khan is the greatest thing since slice bread frank warren says. so...we have to eat basicly but i feel amir is a decent fighter and would of floated to the top anyways.

against limond it's a proper good pick

 

amir seems like a pritty humble guy, for a boy his age he doesnt come off as loud or arrogant atleast from what i'v seen. From recent memorry he's only once showboated in a fight. He doesnt dance on his way to the ring or insult any of his opponents in the middle of a fight.

 

Big step up for Khan. He is fighting for the second most important domestic belt. He is still too young to fight Thaxton for the most important belt.

I want to see Khan beat Limond, defend against Earl and fight Thaxton in December. That would silence the critics.

Khan and Limond are nice guys, with quality skills who train hard. The difference may be Khans physical assets and talent. Limond can get the W if he shows us his talent and intangiables are underrated i.e. strength, speed, power, chin, heart etc

 

Tough one for Khan as Limond is a good little boxer who may not carry one punch knockout power but can certainly dig a bit. He is saying the right things like ALL of Khan's previous opponents, as in he is coming to fight and stopo the khan train etc...

Lets see what they both got. I see Khan winning by pretty comfortable UD. Now if he is sparkles and takes Limond out early, i hope I dont see the Limond is a bum style threads.

Earl I dont think can cause Khan too many problems, but Thaxton is a good fighter who should be mixing it around the world stage. Lets see him versus Katsidis

For me a fight in December with Thaxton is too early, and should be delayed for a year at least, where hopefully Khan will go to America and Europe and fight more regularly against good international opposition especiallly Mexicans, Peurto Ricans, and Eastern Europeans. This ultimately will do him the world of good and build up some ring savvy which is what he misses at the moment.

There is no rush at all, he is 20 years old. Whatever he says about being champion by 21 etc should be written off as the voraciousness of youth. He has plenty of time to win titles later.

have you seen the davison fight...after 48 hours noticed he walks into a ring for a world champion title fight davison a pure southpaw brawler who was a scary scary guy and steve just took him apart and showed him a boxing clinic. great fight great fighter
also the duke mckenzie fight was an epic using his reach and hieght he powered his way throgh with a jab and techncal abilities

 

Willie most likely won't win, but everyone knows I'd be doing a jig with Dunky on the bagpipes if he somehow produced an adequate enough power shot to crack that baby chin.:rofl

Then I'd get pissed out of my mind on Vodka+Irn Bru mixed drinks in celebration.

 

That would be the final nail in the coffin for British boxing after the Harrison - Sprott disaster.

 

Limond is nothing i think this will be over by the 5th Limond has never been in with anyone of khans level and will get beat badly
