He had a 4 rounder in December, and another 4 rounder in March, but nothing since or anything scheduled. Is he injured?

Compare him to Ricky Hatton's first year. He fought roughly about once a month and fought 8 times in 1998

Nigel Benn started his career with 8 rounders and had 12 fights in 1987

FW simply uses his stable on the bills for his big shows rather than have regular small shows which keep fighters active

Hopefully we will see him out again on a regular basis soon.

Nice to see funtime posting too....sooo excited about who the next opponent will be. Not been this swept up by a prospect in some time.

If Heffron is as good as a lot of people say Warren ought to have him straight into six three's from now on.

Against double tough journeymen hopefully, not Eurobums.

I've just noticed that Karl Taylor (Heffron's last opponent) is 2-101-4 since losing to Ricky Hatton 12 years ago.

Journeymen ought to have better form than that if they are taking on the better prospects, even if it's only their 2nd fight.

Good to here he will be more active. It really is bad for the progress of a young up and comer if he is inactive in the early parts of your career activity is key to progression as a Boxer and as a Product to sell to the fans.

Ronnie is still very young and needs to be allowed to mature, Give him another year or so yet.. Different for the likes of me and Frankie, Were older and have been fighting at senior level for many years....:good

I don't think anyone is expecting him to be fighting 6/8 rounders against decent domestic operators just yet. I just think we are all worried about his activity levels. If you compare him to his compatriots from across the pond like Jose Benavidez or Frankie Gomez they have been pro for shorter yet by the time Ronnie is out next they will have been out almost 4 times as many times as he has. Hopefully now Big Frank has a TV deal we will see him become more active.
