good question. Maybe it will be determined by how many rounds each fighter won? Seems pretty fair if all the fights were 12 rounders

 

it goes by

Froch would always be ahead of Dirrell due to his win. Then it would go having the most KO's, then it would go to percentage of rounds won. So if Dirrell won 57/76 rounds and Green won 17/36 Dirrell would go through.

an intresting thing is if Dirrell and Green lose, Froch and Abraham would already be in the next round.

 

think it will come down to wins, KO's etc in the Super 6.

something like goal difference in football.

 

Be great if they had the promoters duke it out with some old fashioned fisticuffs

If you're right, that would mean Kessler will always be above Froch.

And Green would be above Kessler.

On the Super 6 website it just says "a tie break mechanism is in place". Which probably means "Showtime would try their hardest to get two Americans in".

In that scenario, Froch has lost to Kessler, Dirrell lost to Froch, Froch will have lost to Abraham who Dirrell beat. So, I would guess Froch on form lines, but realistically, Dirrell I'd guess.

However, I don't see Green beating Kessler. So, the two point tie will be between Froch and Dirrell, in which case Froch goes through because he beat Dirrell.

 

That needs looking into.

 

If somebody loses 2 fights out of 3 they have no grounds to complain really.
