    I was a HOF fighter who fought everywhere but in NY, except one time.But I made a hell of an impression.Who was I ?

    Yep jg it was the great Charley Burley..He fought for the only time in NY
    on April 20,1942 at vSt nicks Arena..My dad after asking me, went to the fight to see a local prelim boy he liked, and came home raving about the main eventer Charley Burley, who flattened a Phil Mquillan in the first round.. I took notice of his name, from then on...b.b.
    P.S. I used to love as a youngster to go to St Nicks Arena...Like a farm club team for MSG...

    If your just counting New York City, Marshall also fits.

    I have Burley, Jackson and Marshall only boxing in New York City once and only Burley t boxing in New York state only once.
