Yep, Povetkin pulled out before Wlad fought Rahman. Never have I seen a guy DUCK A TITLE SHOT like this before.

Who knows if he even shows up to fight this time.

 

and thats what scares them. They are on the hook for the stadium, training camp that starts next Monday.. TV saved the date... If Povetkin is already showing signs... why not go with someone you know will show up?

At this point, Wladimir needs to get an opponent who wants to be there. Povetkin's been the mandatory for a long time. Wladimir keeps trying to give this guy his title shot, but he just won't take it.

If Peter wants to get in there, he better get himself to a gym ASAP and get his people together with K2. The TV date and location are set. No need to lose all that with a guy who clearly doesn't want to fight. Wlad-Peter 2 would suffice, if all else fails.

Actually, whatever Wlad wants to do will work. He can't even get his mandatory to fight him, ffs. He deserves a freebie at this point. I mean, what can you do? Hopefully Povetkin gets it together and takes the shot.

 

The difference is that Haye knew he really wasn't going to fight the K bros, on the other hand Povetkin will step in the ring with one of them, so he's scared.
