People who picked Mosley to win should be ashamed. What were you thinking exactly?

Many people saw the fight close enough to be even at the end of round 12 and that says much about your could have/couldn't have, what went perfect for one or not according to your standards. Cotto done more than rationally expected by all his supporters since he was able to box and not just fight and kayo Mosley ( like CHJ predicted), was basically able to out-work smartly an opponent who was rationally expected to be technically superior to him and experienced enough to out-last him.
Picking Mosley or any other fighter who lost tonight was as foolish as picking the winners and many good analysts on the Web ( HBO's analysts like Bob Cannobio predicted Mosley to win and by kayo) so wth are you? Some sort of british p(r)ick who stays longtime woken up, watching american fighters compete in a high level to descredit them and make some sort of argument for your nationalistic/obsessive icon... You are not a Cotto fan, not even a Mosley hater, you are simply a childish, stupid ( cause you called us stupid), foolish Calzaghe fan who wants to make your fighter the best thing in boxing... I don't care about Joe Calzaghe, picked him to win against Kessler but still think he's as good as dead, may fight Hopkins but I hope not, I hope that the italian "dragon" retires undefeated and goes into oblivion close to Sven Ottke and most others where nobody cares about, he can well stay the rest of his life in Wales as you can spend the rest of yours here in ESB showing the lack of nobility and grace a real boxing fan should have. You are a joke, I clearly don't have respect for you and hope not to find you again in posts or replies here, you are as good as dead like your China Hand Joe is, fool. Goodbye.

CHJ did not predict a KO. CHJ is not keen on ever making UD/TKO picks.

CHJ picked Cotto largely based on his amateur success and technical proficiency and superb timing he has shown right since the beginning of Cotto's career.

I am dissapointed Cotto took his foot of the peddle a little, but he could afford to.

Someone in Cotto's team probably saw the scorecards midway through the fight, he then knew it was safe to cruise to the finish.

Cotto won this without question. Shanes lack of ability to get out of the way or BLOCK any punch Cotto threw was the deciding factor. Cotto gets the nod in any close round b/c he landed on Mosley clean and flush every single round. Nobody can tell me any different. Just b/c Shane took the shots well and shook his head yes like you got me with a good shot does not eliminate the fact he kept getting hit and giving Cotto that same nod about 12 times or more during the fight. Shane nuthuggery has to end.

It doesn't matter who was and is Shane Mosley for this guy. He tried to make sense by suggesting that he followed Miguel A. Cotto's amateur career ( nothing special, a Rican who lost to Pinto, Abdullaev) and by way of underlining some technical/timing qualities that would give him the edge against Shane. And he did pick Cotto inside 12, anybody can check on his previous posts but I wouldn't critisize him for that since he can actually like the Puerto-Rican, just for this and other acts of pure confrontation against good american fighters and their supporters... This thread is all about the idiotic paralell CHJ wants to establish between Joe Calzaghe's win last week and Shane Mosley's loss now and that's all there is to it. He may not even have watched the fight from a lucid point of view since he was fixed on these ideas as soon as I brought out some similarities between Joe against Mikkel and Shane against Miguel... When the fight is as close as this one was and this guy ( calls himself CHJ like he's God or something) says Cotto could afford to take his foot of the gas peddle, that says just about everything - he doesn't know what he's saying, believe me people, this guy is a FRAUD. Not Joe Calzaghe, he's a good fighter, this member China_hand_joe is not a good fight fan and should be ignored based on this evidence that he created for himself.

Didn't Lederman give Mosley rounds 2 and 3? which was a joke if you really think about it. I think he looked back and said **** I was totally wrong ehh I'll just give 11 and 12 to Cotto ROFL

I think Lederman should retire and keep on going with his Pharmacy, because he must have taken some serious drugs before this fight. His card was completely wrong in the beginning and completely wrong at the end.

mosley won the fight. I gave cotto the middle rounds but shane took it to him in the beginning and at the end. Of course you have to factor in effective aggression into the mix when scoring, but hey if you want to give the fight to a guy who ran without dishing out anything in return go for it. Mayweather will expose this clown and expect bob arum to price miguel out of a fight with mayweather to try and establish cotto as the 'real' welterweight champ. Notice that cut over miguel's eye China Hand Joe? yeah, only hitting his gloves my ****ing ass.

Are you as stupid as your posts? Mosley won this fight despite the judges being deaf, dumb, blind and stupid as you. Cotto was in retreat because he was hurt and ready to be knocked out. If this had been a 15 round event as it should have been, Mosley would have finished him early. Cotto is a real fighter, and he is good for boxing, but he lost this fight. There should be a rematch because this decision was a travesty.

You should stick that one where the sun doesn't shine. When any fighter gets reluctant to come forward, closes his sore-looking, booger-rimmed eyes and turns his head aside, as if in antecipation of a blow, that means he is not confident enough to finish his opponent... This was no Zab Judah, no ( Tito Trinidad vs Pernel Whitaker), this was a fight that was even at the last round, a match where both landed exactly the same number of punches, where Shane threw more jabs but landed less, landed many power-punches and had the pit bull/raging bull/boogeyman retreating... All props to Cotto for boxing intelligence as he always should use but I say it was 115-113 Cotto and not 114-114 cause the boxing Gods always wanted Cotto vs Mayweather to happen in the first place. Sorry for the sincerity and congrats.
