My card: Mosley 116, Cotto 112

Shane winning 5 rounds total is being generous ... Cotto won this he beat shane in every category

 

What ****ing fight were u watching??? I had it 114-114 possibily the edge to cotto but 116-112 Mosley?

Cotto clearly won the fight. For all these morons saying that cotto was hurt or "mosley make him retreat", watch cotto's early fights such as Mausa, Bazan. That was classic cotto boxing/counter punching. He hasn't hurt at any moment of the fight.

I dare you to show me when Mosley hurt Cotto in the late rounds. Cotto hurt Mosley a million times. How many times was Mosley stopped in his tracks and forced to hold and grab. Or better yet looked at Cotto and said yeah you hit me with a good shot nodding his head. I also dare you to show me were Mosley landed a clean punch on Cotto in the later rounds. Cotto was going backwards but still landed all the clean power shots and his jab. Mosley landed nothing but grabbed him and did little body work. You guys are jokes utterly and completely.

 

you must have been watching the Casemayor fihgt. Cotto although backing up beat Mosley in both the 11 and 12 round. Mosley might have landed a total of 9 punches in both rounds combined on compubox numbers. Just becasue Cotto fought going backwards doesn't mean he was hurt. HBO kept mentioning something was wrong with Cotto but I honestly thought that was to bring more hype to the fight. Cotto used a different wrinkle that fans aren't used to seeing which was boxing. Shane is a favorite of mine and lost the fight by 115-113 to me. Great fight by a young lion and a legend. Just look at the post fight interviews and that will tell you who won.

 

I think the fight was very close. the decision should've went to the one who was the aggressor. Mosley, but older fighters usually don't get treated like the young ones, it doesn't make good (HBO$$) sense in the future. So i understand, i'm sure Mosley does too.

 

Cotto definitely won round 11. And since neither fighter really did anything in round 12, you could make a case that Cotto also won round twelve, because he did succeed in keeping Mosley off of him in that round.

It was 6-2 cotto going into the 9th. mosley stunned cotto in the 9th. but didn't capitalize. mosley just couldn't get in the better shots in the 10th and 11th. to win the fight. I was surpirsed cotto hurt/stunned did a nice job of boxing and getting in the better shots countering. Mosley had his shot to close the show and win. but didn't connect enough. cotto hit mosley with the better shots while backing up. cotto by a round or 2. great fight. quido
