whatever happened to him? he use to be one of my favorite prospects then he had that boring fight with ricardo torres on an hbo ppv telecast i think and then was recently ko'd by an undefeated more "vicious" victor ortiz. whats going on :?
According to Teddy Atlas, the problem with Arnaoutis is that he's making peanut butter & jelly sandwiches without the jelly.
Pressuring without consistently infighting at a high volume once he gets by the taller foe's jab. :yep Or maybe Teddy was just really hungry and had PB&J on the brain. :conf Mighty Mike's done, unfortunately. He was a good boxer and should be remembered as such but just wasn't quite strong enough to hassle anybody close to the elite level. That a pretender like "D-Hop" was able to beat him soundly is a sign that his ship has sailed. What's really tragic is that as of a week ago he hadn't even been paid for the loss to Hopkins, on national television. The promoter of the event was TKO Boxing, and apparently they're in dire straits and bounced their check to Arnaoutis, which means he got punched in the face and shown up by a boring little teat-suckler in vain. :-( That may have been the last TV card for TKO Boxing.
It was only fifteen thousand, which hopefully isn't make-or-break for Mike since he's been in some big fights before...but on principle alone, yes it's sickening. Going unpaid for any work is bad, going unpaid for a professional boxing match is a travesty.
I think you've misunderstood Teddy. You're no soul poet of the streets like him. You need to learn to speak jive. Maybe Allan Green can help you out with that. He knows jive, he knows it well.
