Assuming he beats Maccarinelli- David Haye would be aiming to fight Wladimir Klitschko at heavyweight ultimately. I think this would be an interesting fight but I don't think Haye could get in close enough to use his considerable power to catch Wlad, so needless to say i'd back Wlad on this, Would anyone else be interested in this fight?

Itd be good in a few years time probably, but I think its a far way off. As it stands now Haye would get massacred

    Klitschko KO

Wladimir doesn't have Haye on his radar

If Haye gets knocked down by Mormeck, he's gonna be brutally koed by Wlad right now, IMO.

It's not time for this fight yet, Haye should learn a few things first, improve, specially defensivelly, then pursue this fight later.

Wlad gains nothing from this fight. why would he fight Haye?

Klitschko would probably starch Haye early. However Haye could definitely starch Klitschko as well, make no mistake.

Haye would be a bit like Herrbie Hide in the heavyweight divison. Wlad would TKO him early.

Definitely, I feel Haye is not ready yet. At 27, he is still young in heavyweights standards.

Pleas don't mention Haye in the same sentance as Hide. Haye has plenty of skill, and genuine power. Hide has nothing.

he has power but can get hurt as well, he is not worthy of a title shot with Klitschko based on a win over Mormeck, Vlad would get crucified by the critics

Haye should first fight a few fringe journeymen and fringe contenders, move to fighting one or two top 10 contenders and then try to get a shot at one of the weaker belt holders.

    Indeed. No need to rush.

Well, Haye is plenty strong, and could probably rack up some goodwins at heavy, but he's not enough to take Klitschko. Klitschko's in a different place in terms of power and athleticism for a guy his size.

While that is true, it should be taken into consideration that Haye had to seriously weight drain to get down to the cruiser limit. It's like fighting while fasting.

But yeah, Haye would probably get slaughtered if he fought Wlad today.

Not yet, a few fights getting used to the division then start going up gradually from there.
