Could Floyd make the move up to 160 and out-box a prime Gerald McClellan?

Crazy matchup and if McClellan connected I think he would stop most blown up super fearherweights in history. Henry Armstrong might have a small chance with Gerard or possibly Barbados Joe Walcott.

A step to far for Floyd I would think although he would school the G-Man before reach and power became too much.

I dont think Floyd could even beat Terry NOrris.

Floyd is too damn small for 160. His max is 154.

If Gerald connects like Mosley did, in no way would Mayweather continue. Of course it would be at a farther distance because Gerald was taller. Gerald could put his punches together too he wasn't a wild power puncher so that's even more dangerous.

For Floyd to win he would have to fight a pick pocket fight and not get caught with anything significant.

    AKA - McClellan wins.

Mcclellan never fought past prime because of the tragic incident after the Benn fight. Him and Michael Watson never fought past-prime because of tragedies.

One McClellan hook downstairs (left hook to body) and Floyd would be on a stretcher.

No way. It's one thing to suggest a fight against Sergio, who spent most of his career at 147, but McClellan was a solid middleweight. Someone that size with less talent, maybe. I STILL think Floyd could beat Pavlik at 160, but that's mostly because of Pavlik's lack of fluidity.
