It's not looking good for the Sugar Man. A co-worker of mine was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago when they were taping "Shaq Vs.". Anyway, Shaq fought the Sugar Man and apprently was toying with him. He was on his knees beating Shane up and everything. Damn shame.:verysad

Shane is still a good fighter with a good punch.
That's the same thing he was before mayweather.

Floyd walking down Mosley in that manner-unless you believe he was still in good shape by the fourth-can be attributed to the overtraining, old age, or both. Unless the berto camp in addition to the Floyd camp was the greater reason for his exhaustion and he can come back to win a few good last fights, it's hard to believe he can perform near his past potential at 39.

For all that Floyd was brilliant on the night, Mosley looked terrible from the off. Although he still had his power and so rocked Floyd twice (two of the very few times he managed to land cleanly vs that quality defence), Mosley looked very tight, very nervous, very jerky and not composed at all, very unsure of what his best tactic should be (trying to take Floyd on in the centre of the ring at his own game was suicide, considering PBF's speed advantage), he never threw punches in bunches, never really tried to back Floyd up, never tried to use his strength in the clinch, and he tired very, very quickly and easily. All in all, I think he looked like a shot fighter. No way in hell does Floyd whip the Shane Mosley of 2000 that easily. Christ, take away the 2nd round and I think Floyd handled him even easier than he did the undersized, overweight, bloated, sluggish Marquez. If Shane was fighting a top fighter next, say a Berto or a Cotto, I think he would lose. But the fact is he is fighting Mora, and Mora doesn't seem to be able to make the 154 limit without coming in like a ghost, so SSM's power might bail him out vs a weakened opponent. I really would rather see Shane retire though, he has fought the best guys of his era and I don't want to see him stopped or humiliated or badly hurt by a guy he would've creamed in his prime.

He doesn't have the resume at 135 to even be counted as a top 5 lightweight but he does have the head to head status at 135 that most don't have.

Mosley was my favorite fighter for years and still is so it would hurt me to see him shot to bits. I think he was too eager & overtrained but then again I still think Mayweather would've won had Mosley been in better shape but not as dominating. He should beat Mora I hope he retires afterwards though.
