In order 1. Tarver 2. Trinidad 3. Pavlik 4. Johnson 5. Wright 6. De la Hoya 7. Echols After that.. you're really talking bad results You've got Eastman in the list above, I don't see how considering Eastman got dominated by Abraham and Miranda directly after. You've got Joppy who was never really a word rated fighter, you've got Brown who got beaten easily by Bute and has never really been in the picture for a title. Hopkins is one of those fighters who you have to rate through longevity and a few stellar performances, such as Trinidad, Tarver and Pavlik.
I was basing them on performance rather than how good the fighters were, like you said its hard to pick 10 and i refuse togo for RJJ
Trinidad, Tarver, Pavlik, Eastman, Echols, De la Hoya, Mercado, Johnson, Acquiano, Wright. Taylor and Calzaghe should be on this list, but they both got the benefit of a doubt by the judges. Hopkins fought plenty of good fighters. in every win in his career, he dominated his opponent from start to finish with the exception of Wright, who he just outworked. that's why if hopkins doesn't dominate a round, it's given to his opponents. hopkins handed out such onesided ass whoopins the only Glenn Johnson was able to ressurect his career.

William Joppy 10. really struggling with this ****.....er Robert Allen? lets just say the record stinks a bit, most of his 'biggest' wins were against smaller welterweights.
His best win was Echols cuz he would have never got on HBO had he not beat him the 1st time. Never knew he beat Joppy I sparred with him very heavy handed guy, or I just dont have the best of chins,

That must have taken a bit of time to research Normally you would have expected quite a few jumping to Hopkins defence.....On the other hand it would be hard for anyone to defend him with facts laid out like this.
Any fighter who had a long title reign has some dubious names in there, it's not unique to B-Hop, it doesn't mean he didn't have a genuinely great reign, and it isn't even very relevant to this thread. If you did a list like this for another long-standing champ from the same era like Joe Calzaghe, it would be far far FAR worse than the one you have posted, for 100% certainty.
