Thailand..Any of the ozzieboys been??

Keep away from the jetski fellers on the beach - they operate huge scams - you hire the jetski and come back and lo and behold - the jetski is damaged - there is a huge rusty hole in the jetski and you had better pay up as the 'boys' surround you with baseball bats and rifles - basically - they mug you of all your money on the spot and the cops are in on it as well so it is no use going to them - happened to a mate of mine - keep away from the jetskis.

 

Rock City in Patong Phuket is a good night out, they have a massive band that do unbelievable covers of metalica, RHCP etc. Make sure you go and see some Muay Thai at Bangla Stadium, just don't get suckered in to having a punt they are dodgy at best. I stayed at Karon Beach about 5 ks out of patong, hire a scooter to get around **** the tuk tuks have fun mate!

 

Bali tends to be a bit more relaxed :good
