Carl Froch: I Will Rain Down Punches on Abraham

I did not understand, so who is bigger and who is better?:huh

 

Froch has to work from the outside and use his legs to stay on the outside. Never should he try to trade with Abraham toe-to-toe. If he simply sticks to neutralizing Abrahams strength (in the in-fights) and simply bombs him from the outside while disengaging constantly whenever Abraham gets close then Froch should cruise to a very easy and wide W UD12.

Froch should forget about trying to knock out Abraham. I am not saying it's impossible, but he should rather concentrate on winning each round by making it hard for Abraham to land anything meaningful.

 

Froch going to war with AA = Froch getting KTFO. Should be a fun fight to watch while it lasts.

If Kessler is a more dangerus puncher then Froch is a more dangerus puncher than Abraham.. Comon...

Abraham have 2 skills.. Defence and power. Nothing else.

Froch will pound on Abraham early. Abraham will get Froch in the floor.

Froch seems difficult to stop on KO... But i belive that Abrahams explsives in the late rounds will KO froch.

 

No way is Mikkel Kessler a more dangerous puncher then Arthur Abraham, no way.

 

Abraham is the bigger puncher, Kessler is the better puncher.

Similar to saying Shavers was a bigger puncher than Tyson, but Tyson was the better puncher. It's all about technique and Kessler has more than Abraham, though he has less raw power.

Jack, Kessler hurt Froch quite obviously in round... 8, I think. With about a minute left in the round Kessler landed a right hand right on the bridge of Froch's nose. Froch almost went down but managed to keep his balance. The remainder of the round Kessler was sadly inevitable to be sharp enough and Froch recovered well.

Froch has also been hurt by Taylor and Dirrell. But yes, I say this, his recovery powers are extreme. Against Taylor he was very composed - Taylor noticed and didn't attack. Vs Dirrell he went into the ropes, seemingly BADLY hurt, but hit Dirrell right back about only 15 seconds later and seemed fine.

Froch's hope is to set traps the way he sometimes did it against Taylor and Kessler. Make the opponent lead and then use your superior reach to come right back. Just "sticking and moving" isn't Froch's game, he has to get the respect from AA. At some point he will have to. You know, as AA loads up on his sometimes wide shots - you can see very obviously when he does this - counter him with a cracking right. Make him apprehensive, make him think before attacking. Keep him in that shell - if not with activity and moving like Dirrell, then with jab and power. Destroy his rhytm with the jab like he did VS Kessler in the early rounds and then right and get out of there. I think Froch can hurt him - but can he time him? And can he really get him out of there?

IMO Froch can't keep his strategy up. AA will work the body, will come out faster this time (he did neither vs Dirrell) and will find Froch often enough to hurt him. AA was starting to get to Dirrell and even if Froch's defense isn't **** as some say, he's not half as elusive as Dirrell. Contrary to what you might think AA has more punches in the book that Kessler - uppercut, body punching, sweeping left hook and the money punch. All these hurt and while Kessler couldn't find the variety needed when Froch was against the ropes - AA will. AA KO 8 whilst slightly UP on points.

 

I started of hating froch but how can u? His comments a ledgendary! War froch!

 

Abraham can KO Froch no doubt, but the question is will he... I'll give AA 33,3% chance of stopping Froch... If he doesn't stop him he will lose.

I'm thinking about putting some money on Froch in this bout... Depends on the odds ofcourse.
