I know what your saying, i couldnt try mine on either, the older everlast is a good light boot and this boot whilst looking stiff is very similar and i promise you its not a stiff heavy boot, you will enjoy it, its the top end for boots imo, RJJ boot imo is the lower end, its very durable boot but more so a hiking type boot than a light fabric type boot that everlast make. The stiff boots are the leather looking ones, the fabric type boots are the lighter soft boot type. I Sized mine up by going off a nike USA size sneaker because the everlast boots use the same size system as nike, i think Nike make them but im not 100% sure.
I see, hmm I really wanted to try the machomai's since they're on sale for $56, and the hydrlasts for $75. Only problem is there is no covered shipping if I don't like them
dude, that is ******ed. a review from a person who didn't even use them. speculating on "if's" and such. any product is going to have some bad reviews, and the machomais because they were a big seller I'm sure you'll find plenty. But at least get a review from someone who actually used them, not opened the box, took a look and shipped them back. paloa, the thing about the laces, not having firm eye holes is true, but it hasn't posed a problem at all for me. the only concern I'd have for you with them is maybe with your style. For eg, I'm a very mobile fighter, so would never use a high top shoe. the mids is the cut off for me. for support I felt they were really good, but bear in mind, like I say...I don't plant my feet like a plodding fighter would, who would tend to want more support with as high a shoe as possible. I really think a person's style needs to be considered when purchasing either a low, mid or high top shoe. lol at this review. "I danced around a bit and rolled my ankle." what is this dude a cripple? it sounds almost made up, like some one just read other reviews and decided to fabricate one. is prob an addas rep. :yep
i got the hydrolast mids, great boot but the fabric is thick so they soak up sweat. i wouldnt say they are heavy. had em for about 1 yr and they are holding up fine.
