He ducked everybody who had a chance to beat him at WW by retiring...of course he'll be undefeated  If Floyd fought Oscar's competition he wouldn't be undefeated now would he?

Oscar beat more world champions, the better fighters, won more title fights, unified in two different divisions, won in more divisions, he simply did more, was more ambitious, lost a few being so much more ambitious than Floyd, but so what? And this **** about losing all his big fights...it just gets repeated so much, you'd think it was true. I don't even like the guy but people are completely irrational about De La Hoya. It's silly. Who did Floyd beat to become champion the first time? A guy Oscar stopped easily. Who did Floyd beat to become light welterweight champion? A guy Oscar already knocked out. How did Floyd become light middleweight champ? He beat a faded ODLH on a split decision. The careers are not yet comparable. Floyd being undefeated is impressive but if faced with the same competition, I'd say Oscar would be too. He came through much tougher.

I never realised losing the majority of your biggest fights will count in your favour.

I vote floyd ppl say Oscar fought better competition but let's not forget Floyd was calling guys like Oscar out when he was in his prime an Oscar didn't fight him the fact is Floyd is undefeated an a lot of the guys he fought were the guys they wanted him to all of them ranked in the top of the weightclass I mean even hbo said as much in the earlier half of the decade that a lot of guys wouldn't fight him because it was an almost assured lost

This is a very convincing post. Originally I had said Floyd, but now when I think of it, I scored the Trinidad fight and the second Mosley fight as clear and comfortable wins for Oscar (Tito by 4 pts, SSM by 5), and both of those wins top any win Floyd has ever had by a long, long way. I'm running out of reasons to say Floyd. Other than ability, I don't think there is any really (zeroes mean nothing to me unless they are acquired fighting the very best available, which Floyd unquestionably has not done, plus I scored the 1st Castillo fight to JLC by 2 pts anyway).
