Tough one to call. Pacquiao was incredibly raw at 126lbs, but Gamboa has been dropped many times in his career. Pacquiao will tag that chin early and often and drop Gamboa AT LEAST twice over the course of the fight.
Pac hits him with dat straight left and ko's him. Lol at Gamboa being a future ATG, the guy's pro career is slow as ****, he's like 28 and still hasn't done much p4p
:blood This is the same Pacquiao who walked right threw an atg and p4p # 3 at that time in MAB, the same Pacquiao who almost had Marquez out in the very first round. Pac was not the same fighter he is now but back then he was a more hungry, relentless, faster and stronger fighter.
Well, that was closer to his ideal weight. I would say physically that Pac has retained everything(or improved) except for his 1 hit ko power, he can't blast people like he used to at lower weights. Unless it's ricky hatton i guess.
He didn't fight as intelligently and he had far more technical flaws, but he was faster and (p4p) stronger at 126. I think he demolishes Gamboa, and I really like Gamboa.
this would be over by the 6th round... PAC was one dimensional in the lower weight classes he fought... but he also had more Power. and that one dimensional PAC raped MAB and dropped JMM 3 times on the first round... i dont see gamboa having the skill set of JMM to counter PAC.
Gamboa is not even as good as Barerra, Morales and Marquez. I'm amazing that half of the voters believe that Gamboa has a chance against Pacquiao (younger version).
