I am picking Wladimir KlitschKO. He has been avoided a lot.

It should be Martinez but he was robbed against williams so that's out of the question now. I will go with dirrell after beating Ward this september to be fighter of the year.
JuanMa needs to fight the guy chasing him (celestino). Marquez will be tough but he is moving up in weight and has been in 3 brutal fights with Vasquez.

Basically, Abraham and Ward > than the Lopez opponents and the only way to match that would be wins against Celestino and John. Lueveno and concepcion were not on Ward or Abraham Level. Marquez is sort of a wild card because It's hard to see how good he will be at 126 against Lopez. It feels like Maquez has retired the last 2-3 years and is finally coming back. Those 4 fights with vasquez put him in isolation.

If lope gets Marquez in the next few months and wins and beats john in december or november id have to make him fighter of the year and put him high on the p4p list

Montiel, Martinez and Pongsaklek are doing pretty good so far, all 3 picked up the lineal championship in their division beating a young, top lion, although Wonjongkam didn't exactly beat a true elite fighter in Koki, but dominated against the odds regardless.

Forget Lopez, he only picked up an ABC belt so far and beating shot Marquez doesn't worth much in a FOTY competition, thx God Gamboa is fighting Rojas, not the other shot Mexican warrior. I'd rather throw in Floyd, he picked up the World WW Title vs. the old Mosley who was ranked inside the top5 P4P.

Never really though of Dirrell as a FOTY candidate, but if no more success for Montiel and Martinez this year, beating Abraham and Ward convincingly would be a pretty strong argument, especially as the odds are against Dirrell, again.

Also, don't count Amir Khan out, if JMM blasts Diaz away and gets his P4P#3 ranking back, Khan getting the win against the odds (ESB favors JMM in my poll), would mean he beat the highest ranked P4P-er in 2010.

Montiel if he beats Donaire.. I think his win over Hasegwa was superb and he is a really underappreciated figher but it would be a very close call and I would probably lean towards Lopez if he beats BOTH Marquez and John..
