Klitschko by KO. An all around better boxer and is powerful himself.

Shavers would have ko'ed the younger version of Wlad. But I'm not sure he gets past that jab. Have to go with Klitchko by decision.

If Randy Tex Cobb could do it so could Wlad IMO

Land once? He'll need to land more then once - if he can land at all.

Because of his history, people will always say that any big puncher has a chance against Wlad...and that's fair. He's been down what, 9 times? Maybe more. But he is a different fighter today and I Shavers would have to absorb an awful lot of punishment to get a crack at his chin.

Wlad was beaten for the following reasons:

    1. Overpacing at age 21 against a veteran who could take a lot of punishment.

    2. Totally underestimating a southpaw, who had quick hands and feet.

    3. Whatever was wrong with his body against Brewster (and I am not saying he was poisened, athletes sometimes bonk because of metabolic imbalance), that was not a normal KO. Brewster landed his best punch in round three, Wlad took it OK. Brewster also was able to take inhumane punishment, amazing that he was still standing in round five.

None of these losses gives a recipe for Shavers to beat the current version of Wlad. Shaver's puncher chance would depend on a huge mistake on Wlad's partand he hasn't made e big mistake in 5 years. Besides Mayweather, Wlad is the most flawless active boxer.

Agreed. Wlad's chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be sometimes. They make it sound like any heavyweight (and most cruiserweights) with a greater than 65% KO ratio could destroy Wlad "if only they landed". Wlad's only been KO'ed by absolutely monstrous punchers. So going by chin alone, Wlad is in fine shape. And Wlad is a lot more than just a chin - he's probably the premier defensive fighter in the heavyweight division.

Shavers, to his credit, is a monstrous puncher, and might cause a scare or two early on, but he would never be able to get in close enough to land the type of shot that would take down Wlad. After about four rounds of swinging at air, he would tire, and Wlad would stop him between rounds 7-9.

If Shavers lands he won't let Wlad off the hook.
But then again I would pick Wlad to outbox him and stop him over the distance... It would be hard though, because Shavers could end it, any time.

No he didn't :-( Every one of Shavers' KO losses had more due to do with his exhaustion than his chin. He wore himself out throwing bombs.

Wlad KO. Of course if Shavers lands big Wlad is going down and probably out, most would. Chances of that happening? Low.

Wlad takes this most likely, Shavers was a natural puncher but was very crude IMO.

The Klitschko that lost to Purrity, Brewster and Sanders? Could go either way by knockout. The Klitschko who won't let you touch his face with your ****ing stare let alone your glove? Stops Earnie at some point in the fight with a straight right or left hook.
