Great article. Well written.
It's been ages since I've read "Good weekend".
It always produces a rawness that that is not doctored.

As for the content, it pretty much endorses what I've gleaned, that Khodar has put his own stamp on the industry. One of disconnection.
To him, boxing is an undefended ***** in need of a pimp,, & he's valiantly put his hand up,,,, her.

 

Wasn't using Wikipedia as my source but cheers that's interesting to know.

Again emphasizes that Nasser is the reason Mundine has wasted his undeniable talent fighting poor opposition.

Nasser is certainly a piece of work, but has rat-cunning enough to have extracted a lot of money from a lot of people. Plainly he's prepared to lie, mislead, and screw people in negotiations wherever and whenever possible, and couldn't give a **** what people think about him.

Johnny Lewis, a hero of mine in the heydays of Fenech, Hitman & Kostya, seems to be increasingly losing the plot. I have no idea what he stands for anymore and I doubt if he has.

 

Yep! Article pretty much confirmed what we always knew which is that Khoder is fecal matter!

It's important to have a fallback position in any negotiation, and if you're in a postion to be able to say '**** you' and walk away, it means you hold most of the aces in those negotiations.

The reality for Mundine, is that unless the prospective opponent's management is prepared to be screwed over by Nasser, the bout just won't happen.

Fighters higher up in the rankings are naturally going to have management who are less inclined to want to be screwed too.

Perhaps, and even probably, that's why Nasser keeps matching Mundine up in waste-of-time fights, and appears to have no medium range career plan, let alone any long-term plans.
