This fight will be for the Minimum Super Welter Light Middle Cubic Zirconian Sterling Silver Bedazzler Encrusted WBC Catchweight Championship Belt. Enough of this **** already.

no kidding, it took long enough

"in a fight where the participants could potentially weigh no heavier than four pounds below the actual divisional limit."

I think that speaks volume. Calling catchweights exactly what they are

and forget fighters agreeing to it, it shouldn't be happening in the first place.

**and just imagine had PBF used catchweights to win titles over say Gatti, DLH and Baldomir the backlash would have been 6-7 times worse.

I agree these catch weight fights are ****ing pathetic. Pac wining the vacant 154 title while fighting at 150 doesn't count as a legit title IMO.

Bradley is awesome, we need to see a good bout at 140 there is some serious talent we just need to see them fight each other.

Nothing to do with Floyd, what Floyd has accomplished speaks for itself, and it's silly to think people would have to defend a fighter of his caliber. The bottom line is the articles author makes the point Manny is a ******, not my opinion his, but still has nothing to do with Floyd.

I didn't like the catchweight for Cotto. But I think with Margo it's fine. But it should be like 152 instead. If it was someone like Martinez who hasn't weighed below 154 for a while, that would be bad. I don't care about belts at all, let Pac try to get whatever belt he wants, I do agree that catchweights are not the best idea when trying to get a belt at some division, but the most important thing is the opposition, that's what defines fighters, not belts. So if Marg is fine at 150, then it's cool. Although I'd prefer it be at 154.

Manny cheating history? Just form your opinion. If you don't believe he's really earning those belts, then don't. Who cares what history says. History will say he did it at 150 anyway, so someone who reads that will make their own conclusions and say "oh it should have been at 154 no?".

My stance on catchweights have always been:
If you want to come in under the limit, that fine. But don't dictate the terms to the other guy.
