Now who's really faster?
Pressure worked for ODLH and Hatton. Everyone trashes Hatton for getting KTFO, but the guy walked into a perfect, flush left hook from the #1 P4P fighter...then landed face first into the turnbuckle. atsch Of course he was KTFO! Could have, and probably would have, happened to anyone willing to go balls out, like Hatton did. But I digress... My point is that there were times in both of those fights where ODLH and Hatton were dictating the pace, which is a rarity. Floyd normally dictates the pace. So, pressure works. As Ricky showed us, coming straight in DOESN'T WORK! Lateral movement and quick combos (as Shane showed us, briefly) do work. A great jab works, as Oscar showed us (before he got gassed out). What doesn't work, as Shane showed us, is coming in with one game plan. Using speed and pressure might work for a round, but it won't work for 10 because Floyd will adjust and then you need a new plan. Pac can bang inside, throw from weird angles, put together quick combos, or he can circle/jab outside. He also throws good counters, which is how Floyd is going to get beat (by whomever). Someone is going to have to land a big counter combo, get him in trouble and overwhelm him. It won't happen through accumulation because Floyd's defense and ring smarts are too good. It won't happen on points, because...well, who is a better technical boxer out there than Floyd?
another ***** grabbing at straws. since when did floyd regain p4p #1? and btw, the majority think floyd was the ***** in this negotiation.
pac has already struggled with fighters he had a significant handspeed advantage over in the past, Morales and Marquez. How will he react once he's in the ring with Floyd who's faster than him?
:huh I clearly remember JMM saying after his fight with Floyd that Floyd was faster than he thought, faster than Pac, but not as strong as he thought.
Floyd hits faster but Pac anticipates fast too. Just ask Clottey - Pac knew when I will throw and when I will back-up. Pac is deceiving in his punches. One boxer said that he seemed to be moving back but quickly launch a shot coupled with his fast feet. He's very good in anticipation. A slight twitch in the shoulder, Pac can read that and throws earlier than his opponents since he is faster. Lately, he added decoys in his arsenal. He throw fake shots and hit is opponent with the other hand.
Calm down Manny-Sexual...people are entitled to their opinion. Manny won't go near a WINNING fighter..much less one with speed and movement. "Shane...you're just too good"....Freddy Roachdeal:deal
