again you insist on that when there is no proof floyd is faster. jmm and others who have fought pac seem to think pac is faster which is the point of this thread. and i just countered your counter point where you misread pacs words. so how can you ask this question when it is going against the grain of what this thread is trying to establish?
Because Floyd is faster. We saw Floyd neutralizing speed and making it useless before, but what about manny? He lost to slower fighters before.
Manny isn't going anywhere near a FAST fighter.:deal Mayweather is fast..plus..he has EXPERIENCE with fast fighters. The Roach knows what he is doing by skillfully navigating Fanny away from speedy fighters.
atsch repeating it over and over does not make it a fact. ignoring the evidence of jmm which is the point of this thread also does not make it a fact. but since you don't seem to understand that, i'm not going to waste my time arguing with you. i'll leave you guys to your lies.
AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAH! A fighter being koed! AHHAHAHAHAHHA "King con" yeah a get it! "CON" yeah! AHAHHAHAHAHAH ESB...most ******s at the same place.
Ignoring the evidence? Pacquiao-Marquez II: Pac landed This content is protected of his punches. Marquez landed This content is protected . This content is protected Mayweather-Marquez compubox: Mayweather- This content is protected Marquez- This content is protected . Now who's really faster? Oh I see. Pac is so fast, they cannot even accurately count the punches.
Floyd throws a faster jab. Floyd's right is faster than manny's right. Floyd's hook is faster. We seen manny struggle with fighters who had a significant speed advantage over in the past. Do you not have an answer for how he will react against someone who's faster than him?
Keeping EVERYTHING in perspective.....PAC at 130 being faster than Floyd at 147 is a given....The same would go for JMM. At 130 JMM was faster than he was at 144, or 146....what ever weight the fight was finalized for. So his perception of PAC being faster was during JMM's prime years (Physically) and at a lighter weight where he wasn't slowed by age and fighting at a very untatural weight of 146 would be compared on two vastly different scales. PAC hitting JMM harder than Floyd....period, regardless of weight needs to be placed in the proper perspective as well. JMM at 146 surely is bigger, thicker and stronger where his ability to absorb or take a punch would or should improve. Of course Floyd is not KNOWN as a devastating puncher.....Manny is. Floyd punching hard at 147 compared to Manny as a "PUNCHER" at 130 or higher is understandable considering his "MO" as a offensive dynamo and lethal puncher vs Floyd's "MO" as a highly skilled/technical boxer and Defensive Wizard. Floyd is a very effiecnt boxer, very clean, crisp and percise. . But he's not a heavy hitter. He places his punches and uses precision timing to hurt his opponents and somtimes he has help by an unlikely accomplice......the very solid, "trunbuckel". Style wise I'm sure he feels Floyd's style was harder based on the outcomes of their fights. Now.....Ricky and DLH...their perception of who is "more difficult" would seem clear....however, as you stated Floyd is a great technical boxer and very skilled. His reflexes allow him to get away with things most can't....so absolutely he's gotta be the most difficult fighter from the standpoint he's very cautious, not easily rattled, great defensively and very intelligent. So he takes very little risks which leave very few openings for his opponents, coupled with being great defensivley and you have Floyd Mayweather Jr. But I'm sure if you asked who was more dangerous or devastating in the ring they'd find themselves choosing Manny over Floyd. My perception hasn't changed at all based on JMM's comments.....he's a fighter and his comments should be respected. I'm looking forward to his fight with Diaz and hope to see him in better for back at a more natural weight.
pac's power is irrelevent. if margarito, cotto, kostya tszyu and winky wright couldn't knock floyd out, what makes you think pac could?......................................
manny was also 25 and 29 when Marquez faced him while Floyd was 32 when he fought JMM. We know good things don't happen to speed with age.
In most cases yes! But guys like Manny and Floyd are operating with unusal talent and athletic ability...even somone like Zab. They seem to reach their PEAK or....absolute PRIME physically and through high level experience when they reach their early 30's. Some fade earlier if they have a style that takes a lot of punishment or for those who have un-healthy lifestyles out of the ring. Manny and Floyd don't and they are very efficent in their own ways, where they don't usually take a lot of punishment....especially floyd.
And if Tim Bradley...Devon Alexander...Shane Mosley..Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez couldn't KO Manny, what makes you think Floyd could?.................:hey
