by either organization (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF) NOT to pick up a world title belt in the next 5 years! Of course if a name loses his perfect record but still picks up a belt inside 5 years, that will not count.

This is the next installment of my series predicting on the next five years. In another thread you can name 25 fighters actually to pick up a belt, try that out as well if you like: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241666

Thought this one will be uncrowded.

Let me put it this way then: all you have to do is to spot the weak among the unbeaten contenders, and there are dozens and dozens out there to choose from. In fact, you only have to name 15 while there are 17 weight divisions, 4 organizations and 15 ranked contenders in each, and if you made the "25 title winners" list, you already have an idea which divisions are covered at the top, so not many unbeaten contenders are gonna have success there, are they?

Damn, that was a lot tougher to put together than I thought it would be. A lot of guys I thought were undefeated have one loss.

Most of these guys I've actually seen once or twice, but a few of these are rabbit out of the hat variety, where they just have weak records.

Thought it'd be more difficult than the previous one, but I guess that's the whole point! :D

Answering a question, silver/interim title doesn't coult as a world title.

Interesting suggestions Robpalmer, some good names are in there!

    Craig McEwan
    Paul McCloskey
    Martin Lindsay
    Scott Quigg
    John Simpson
    Tyson Fury
    Ajose Olesegun
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (not against a reigning champ. Uncle Bob could get him a shot against a non threat for a vacated title)
    Sebastian Zbik

That's all I can think of right now.

Edit: Not all those are top 15. Damn, those criteria make it near impossible to complete!

Yeah - if the criteria was just 'hyped, undefeated prospects', there would have been a lot of responses. Took me like an hour to find 15 undefeated ranked guys who I don't think will win belts, and even one or two of those guys still might.

Jose Benavidez, the best prospect that I've seen since Roy Jones Jr, but I don't see him winning a championship anytime soon. What happened to Rigondeux? Hes another one who should have a championship by now but because of his bickering with promoters and powerful people in the industry, probably wont have a championship in 5 years.

John simpson isnt unbeaten he has lost 6 fights in his career.I think Mccloskey wont win one judging on his last performance btu Martin Lindsay has a chance to.Hes a very good all round fighter. Why dont you think he will win a world title?
