Can EVERYONE please finally stop with the supposed speed and chin disadvantage that Cotto supposedly has. He took some good shots from Mosley and didnt even flinch. Also, as usual Cotto showed that his own speed is very much overrated.

With that said, Floyd's speed will not be a problem. More importantly, Floyd's lack of power won't be enough to keep Cotto off of him. So for any one who actually believes that floyd can knock Cotto out is out of their mind. Floyd's only chance would be to pot shot his way to victory.

I don't think he is strong enough to keep Cotto from attacking. I can only hope now that FLoyd gets by Ricky and doesnt ***** out on this fight. If he tries to say that a fight with Cotto wouldnt generated money, then everyone, including Floyd fans, should realize that he wants no part of Cotto and only wants to protect his O.

Well he could've fought Floyd back 2 years ago when they're still with Arum both. I just didn't know what happened.

Back then Cotto is no match for Mosley. But I feel his seasoning is catching up with his potential. Now Cotto would be a good bet to beat Floyd especially if Floyd gets troubled by Hatton.

Since when did Floyd have to rely on his own punching power to handle the pressure of his opponents? Floyd isn't going to be looking to "gain Cotto's respect with power shots", he's going to be slipping, dipping, moving, countering... basically boxing.

From what I had seen before the Mosley fight, Cotto already showed me he can deal with speed. But his chin was still questionable. The fight with Mosley proved yet again that he can deal with speed, but it also showed that Cotto has a good chin.

Judah Mosley Mayweather, all fighters that are "too fast too slick" for Cotto. I say keep Cotto in with the same equation and get him in there with Mayweather ASAP.

He only proved that he can fight on the back foot and box like against Lovemore NDou when he was 19-0 (16) for a IBF eliminator, couldn't have Ndou backing off so he backed off.
    Against Shane: Total Punches: Cotto -248 of 675 (37%); Mosley - 248 of 774 (32%). Total Jabs: Cotto - 98 of 288 (34%); Mosley - 71 of 439 (16%). Power Punches: Cotto - 150 of 387 (39%); Mosley - 177 of 335 (53%).

Shane had more than 50 % of Power Punches, landed more power punches so just cause Cotto threw more jabs, are we supposed to believe that he outboxed or outspeeded Shane? Shane fought a stupid fight like against Forrest in Indiana, and I don't rate Cotto above Shane, Margarito, least of all over Floyd or Williams.

Shane could have easly won the last few rounds by just throwing punches, He only threw two punches at a time.

Mosley did make a mistake by standing in front of Cotto early in the fight. Every four punch combo would send cotto into a defensive mode and he wouldnt counter back.
