Wlad is too stiff and one dimensional to beat a prime Tyson.

Im a fan of Wlad, but I agree, Prime Tyson knocks him out early. I think Vitali could win vs tyson on a UD or even TKO him later in the fight.

Tyson showed great defense and attacking for the first half of any fight, atfer that anyone had a chance against him at the elite level.

Tyson would KO Wlad in first or second round.

    both bros are great fighters.
Peak Iron Mike Tyson is the best heavyweight i've ever seen easily.

Actually, not only did he reach Tucker, he was landing his Jab on the 6'5 Tucker. :D
Tucker just decided to be a survivor in that fight and use his agility to keep away and then when in close, tie him up.

Oh, and Biggs was 6'5 and Tyson broke him down and knocked him out.

    I predict a great fight.

Questions do remain, fairly or no, about Wlad's chin.

But Tyson always had trouble with tall fighters, especially ones with a jab and or power. wlad's got both.

I suppose I go with Tyson. Wlad has very Douglasesque skills, but we all know that Tyson was already in decline by the time he fought Buster because by the time of the Bruno fight, he was already choosing to fight as a hack instead of skilled and talented fighter with head movement and combos.

The one thing the thread maker gets wrong is the thing about Wlad being a 1-2 guy. He's alos got one of the best hooks ever, which he will double up on, or throw off the jab.

Wlad's chin is the reason he gets KTFO by Tyson. However, a fight with Vitali would be interesting.

An injured Tony Tucker, ol' man Bonecrusher Smith, crack-head Mitch Green and the fighting cowboy James Tillis all made 12 rounds and bothered Mike. All had decent height but were inferior to Wladimir on all accounts.

    Mike KO1?

    Nostalgia KO1 ESB.

The Tyson vs. Spinks vs. the Wladimir litschko version from now is a great fight. But youu have to favor Wladimir. Tyson said himself after losing to Lewis, I could never beat him, he's too big and too strong. Wladimir is even bigger and his jab even more effective. It would be exxplosive but Wladimir would establish control with his size and strength advantages. Even if Mike were able to connect, Wlad's chin is a lot better than credited for. Clear win for Klitschko, the size disparity and the skills of Wladimir are just too much for any man under 6 ft to overcome.

I love to think that a prime Tyson would smash on anyone in the history of heavyweight boxing, but I see him having a lot of trouble with Wladimir. Under Steward Wladimir has proven very hard to hit. Mike even in his "Prime" years had problems with getting discouraged. I think it is plausible that Tyson would catch him early with a big left hook. I also see a fight where Wladimir jabs and holds until he tires Tysons legs out eventually putting him down and out with the right hand late in the fight.

First of all, I disagree with a lot of your post, but I'm just going to concentrate on this particular statment.

How the **** is Wlad like Douglas? Douglas threw MANY, MANY uppercuts in that fight. Wlad throws maybe one uppercut every 5 fights, and looks clumsy when he does it.

As soon as Wlad started pawing with that pathetic jab of his Tyson would be on his ass and Wlad would soon be knocked out. Anyone who thinks Wlad could beat a prime Mike Tyson is nuts.

Tyson is overated. Vlad would keep his distance and pound him with jabs until Tyson gets knocked out or quits on his stool.
